The deal gives Altice expanded VOD rights to Univision-owned content, and it calls for the company to co-produce Spanish-language news programming for Altice’s hyper-local news outlet News 12.

Univision has set a new carriage agreement with Altice USA that covers Univision O&Os and cable offerings in New York and other markets and expands distribution of Univision’s Fusion TV and El Rey Network channels.
